Its hard to take an athlete from their decade and place them in another. Training, nutrition mindset all change to where the percentage increases do make a difference. Hence why world records are still broken today. Ali was a great fighter and personality but with old school diet, training and mindset. Toughness you could argue he may of actually had more of though.
